This workshop at the VAD/SGAS 2026 conference explores participatory theatre as a decolonial-feminist research method to understand African intersectional modes to tackle contemporary social issues and foster collective intervention. It centres African participatory theatre research projects, enabling participants to become ‘spect-actors’ in co-producing critical knowledge for social transformation
