The PolMig project team is feeling invigorated following a highly successful first meeting with the advisory board.
The hybrid meeting was marked by a spirit of collaborative and critical engagement, providing invaluable direction for the project's future. The distinguished advisory board members, comprising of leading international scholars, activists and practitioners, offered excellent advice and constructive critique. The ERC-funded project is dedicated to ethically advancing an Afrocentric understanding of the complex politics of migration agency, identity and belonging as well as epistemic justice. The team is now looking forward to integrating the board's advice as they continue to develop and refine their research ideas, laying a strong foundation for a fruitful upcoming first fieldwork phase.
