PolMig’s principal investigator, Franzisca Zanker, presented the PolMig research project at the Migration Policy Centre in Florence, where she explored and conceptualized one of PolMig‘s key themes: the political agency of migrants in Africa. Participatory Research Methods Workshop & Training on “Theatre of the Oppressed”

On the 27-28th November, the PolMig team held a workshop on participatory research methods at the ABI aiming to deepen its knowledge about how such methods work in practice, in particular related to the theatre of the oppressed.

Participatory Research Methods in (Forced) Migration Studies

On May 16 at 14h30 the first meeting of the Freiburg Migration Forum will take place, this time on participatory research. The focus will be on the results of two research and development projects on women's experiences of migration and discrimination in Germany, presented by Myriam Alvarez, Birgit Heidtke & Nausikaa Schirilla. All interested parties are welcome - registration is kindly requested. The event will be held in German.
